Have a short rest by visiting these various art exhibitions that you can look through within the 30 minutes of your lunch break!
Hong Kong is a country with incredible art pieces and various art galleries. Within the Central area, there are over ten inspiring galleries to choose from. For those who do not have time to visit, I have prepared a quick view of some of the Central art shows on display in April.
I’m sure you have seen this cute ‘XwX’ faced character around Hong Kong nowadays. There was not only a gigantic floating Kaws sculpture at Victoria Harbour last month, but also an exhibition at PMQ shows some of the most famous art pieces of Kaws. The show not only displays paintings but also life-sized designed figures. Uploading a picture of you striking the same pose as an iconic Kaws’ character is sure to get you more likes on Instagram! Don’t forget – you need to make a reservation for this exhibition as the quota is limited per each time slot.
Venue: PMQ, 35 Aberdeen St.
Until: Sunday April 14 2019

His iconic painting style of colorful geometric patterns reveals different kinds of animals. If you want to meet rainbow colored animals smiling at you, this will be a great chance. Make sure to look out for more of his mural pieces that are painted on the building walls of Hong Kong!
