A classical holiday stage production for the entire family, the Hong Kong Ballet has brought to you the Nutcracker this year. It is the perfect way to celebrate the holiday with the magic of Tchaikovsky’s timeless score and to be immersed in a night of elegant and mesmerizing performances.
This December, K11 Art Mall will host a weekly weekend market featuring local handicraft brands. Hong Kong creative artists and crafters will get to share their designs, products and festive joy with the customers. You can find different handcrafted Christmas gifts here for your loved ones, including handmade soap, calligraphy cards, Christmas cards, puppets and earrings. The market will be held on the first and second floor of K11 Art Mall.
The Hong Kong Children’s Choir and Hong Kong Philharmonic Chorus, together with the HK Phil, will be performing a festive programme on Christmas Eve this year! The musical program features some of the classic Christmas songs, including selected pieces from The Nutcracker and the famous song Ave Maria. The Harbour City Ocean Terminal Deck will be transformed into a Christmas Lighting Garden this year, where the entire garden will be covered with lighting decorations such as rainbow-like clovers and snowflake-shaped dandelions. Besides the festive decorations, there will also be music and lighting show in the evening for people to enjoy. Visitors to the garden are suggested to pre-register online as there are only a limited number of guests allowed per time.
In addition, there is a Christmas Bear Toy Store at the entrance of the mall. The European-style wooden cottage has 30 different sizes of Christmas teddy bears, along with a 3-meter-tall giant teddy bear!
