As Halloween is approaching, Disney Halloween Time has returned to Hong Kong Disneyland Resort as a series of seasonal celebration events has started since 12th September! Some traditional programs are kept from the previous years while some extraordinary evil elements are lately added to enrich this villainous party.
Mickey’s Halloween Time Street Party
Same as last year, there would be Mickey’s Halloween Time Street Party in every afternoon along the Main Street, U.S.A., which you would see Mickey and his friends singing and dancing in Halloween-themed costumes. Kids can sing along and join the dancers to have fun at the parade.
Halloween Time Festival Gardens
While in Halloween Time Festival Gardens, there would be Trick-or-Treats moments for all the candies hunter. And of course, you can make your own Halloween basket there as well to keep all the sweet prizes.
Journey to Halloween Time
Inspired by the Tim Burton movie Nightmare Before Christmas, Halloween Town, the scenario of the story has been rebuilt at the Pavilion. Guests can experience a haunting atmosphere and have Trick-Or Treat moments while touring around the town.
Character Greetings with Disney Villains
Villains love attention so they would love to walk around during this evil celebrating period and have greetings with their fans. You may find Hades from Hercules, Frollo from The Hunchback of Notre-Dame and many other villains in Halloween Time Festival Gardens. The sweetest vampire, Vampirina, from Disney Junior Channel, made her debut in Hong Kong Disneyland. Do not miss out on the chance to have a photo with her at The Annex.
Let’s Get Wicked
The highlight of Disney Halloween Time this year has to be the brand-new musical “Let’s Get Wicked”. This is a world’s first villain-themed live performance for Hong Kong Disneyland. Five iconic villains including Ursula from The Little Mermaid, Cruella de Vil from 101 Dalmatians, Mother Gothel from Tangled (who is rarely to be found in other Disney resorts in the world), etc. They would bring along with their signature songs with rearrangement of a wide variety of styles such as Broadway, pop, rock, and tango. The never-been-seen stage effects and lighting would bring the show to a higher level. With the original themed-song, “Let’s Get Wicked,” created exclusively for the show, the audience would have a new immersive musical journey featuring their favorite villains.
Jack Skellington’s Villaneous Gathering
When night falls, don’t go home too soon. Stay for the finale show of Jack Skellington’s Villainous Gathering at the Castle Hub Stage. Pumpkin King Jack would take over Disneyland along with other Disney Villains such as Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty and Jafar from Aladdin to dance and sing at evil nights to celebrate the coming of Halloween.
The Disney Halloween Time would be held until 31st October.
