The final exhibition of ‘Portrait of Hong Kong’ by Fan Ho, one of the most renowned photographers of Hong Kong was held on April 14, 2019. Despite the drastic weather condition featuring a thunderstorm and wind up 60km/h, countless people visited the Blue Lotus Gallery in Sheung Wan to experience Fan Ho’s photo exhibition.
Fan Ho (1931 – 2016) was born in Shanghai, where he dreamed of becoming a photographer ever since his adolescence. Since then he’s become one of the most influential photographers of Hong Kong, earning around 300 local and international photography certificates and titles. Although he retired at the age of 65, and has passed avail since the legacy of his photos remains strong.
