Vincent Van Gogh is widely recognised as one of the greatest artists across the globe. Almost 130 years after his death, his paintings now hang at every corner of the world: in a museum, in a gallery, or in a high-end auction with an astronomical price tag.
After the tours in the US and Europe, we finally have a chance to look into this globally acclaimed multimedia exhibition in Hong Kong – Van Gogh Alive. This exhibition finally kicked off in Kowloon Bay last Saturday, and will stay for 3 months until 7th July.
This art exhibition is not like other ordinary ones. Through projecting Van Gogh’s most famous pieces onto the walls, the floor and the ceiling, combined with classical music like Summer from Antonio Vivaldi from The Four Seasons, the atmosphere brings visitors back to the late 1800s.
If you are in love with the masterpieces like Arles, Saint Rémy and Auvers-sur-Oise, this would be a chance you cannot afford to miss.
