From now until January 2 2024, head over to this year’s holiday exhibit at Pacific Place, “A Fairytale Christmas”, to meet fairies, woodland animals, and good ol’ Santa Claus! Set in a mystical forest, the display features magical mushrooms, glowing flowers, and glittering decorations. At Snowfall Hollow, a special light show dazzles audiences every hour.
Have your photo taken with Father Christmas himself at Santa’s Grove. To learn to make festive crafts like Fairy Wreaths and Snowdrop Lamps, sign up for Gifts of the Forest workshops at Santa’s house with your little ones. In the Kids Activation zone, children may even solve puzzles with the fairies in an interactive experience. Nonprofit campaign Operation Santa Claus receives all workshop ticket earnings, allowing you to spread warmth to those in need this holiday season.

West Kowloon Cultural District
Renowned for its celebration of Hong Kong art and culture, the West Kowloon Cultural District is doubling down on its festive cheer. Complete with captivating wintry displays and a sky-high Christmas tree, the charming Christmas Town is the perfect place to spend the holidays from 24 November 2023 to 1 January 2024. Make sure to pay a visit and make treasured memories with your loved ones.
Standing at over 20 metres tall, the Christmas tree twinkles with colourful lights and ornaments, silhouetted against Hong Kong’s stunning skyline. Numerous smaller ones surround the tree, creating a quaint Christmas village. Take in a cosy, wondrous atmosphere all season long, and of course, don’t forget to pay Santa a visit – he’s waiting for you in the Christmas lodge!

Disneyland
Of course, this list wouldn’t be complete without a mention of Hong Kong Disneyland. Disney Christmas Live in Concert will be held at the Castle of Magical Dreams, with around 100 members of the Hong Kong Children’s Choir participating, and local vocalists Jason Chan and Phil Lam making special appearances. The Holiday Wish-Come-True Tree Lighting Ceremony, featuring new drone effects and Christmas carolling, is another seasonal event. On top of these holiday festivities, the theme park is also welcoming the world’s first Frozen-themed land, Frozen Ever After.
Disneyland offers a broad range seasonal merchandise, including holiday collections from Mickey, Stitch, Duffy & Friends, and Frozen. To extend your adventure from sunrise to sunset, Disneyland recommends the “Sparkle All The Way” package, a Christmas-themed hotel room at the Kingdom Club, and the LinaBell and StellaLou Fandom Christmas Gift Package. These will certainly enhance the festivities!

IFC Mall
Head to the IFC Mall this holiday season for a snowy, dreamy White Christmas! From November 22 2023 to January 1 2024, the commercial and shopping hub of Hong Kong will be housing an 8.5-meter-tall Christmas Tree, as well as facilities for various interactive digital winter games. Better yet, the “SnowPark”, inspired by classic European ski resorts, will be unveiled shortly – it is a customised AI photo experience with a ski life and much more, situated in the Oval Atrium in the Mall. From November 22 until January 1, visit with your family for a picture-perfect weekend!

ELEMENTS
Beginning on November 16 2023, you can say hello to Santa and his elves at ELEMENTS, the landmark shopping mall in the picturesque West Kowloon District! Inside the mall, you also can’t miss the Instagram-worthy giant Christmas tree and magical box installation. Unique displays will be showcased every hour in the afternoon with complimentary music and dance performances from various troupes. Not to mention, ELEMENTS has collaborated with Box of Hope, a local NGO, to kickstart a Secret Santa scheme between customers and impoverished children. Spreading warmth and affection to those in need while enjoying the festivities has to be the best way to spend your Christmas, right?

Discovery Bay
Want a romantic weekend getaway over the holiday? Look no further than Hong Kong’s own island resort, Discovery Bay! Starting on November 24th, it will embody the spirit of Christmas with its European Christmas Wonderland, featuring festive lighting, Italian-style decorations, artificial snow and spectacular light projections.
On Christmas Eve and Day, there will be a “Santa Meet & Greet” where customers may snap selfies with Santa in line for a Christmas gift. This year, Discovery Bay and The Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council are collaborating to hold a Charity Market, Christmas Carolling, and Busking at the DB Plaza indoor event venue on December 24 and 26 2023 to further deepen the meaning of this Christmas.
